Rule 17
Investigation and Decision

(1) Regarding the application submitted by the party according to rule 16, the commission shall examine and make a decision regarding the registration of the party for election purposes as follows:- a. Whether or not the matters to be disclosed in the application have been disclosed, b. The application submitted by the party to register the party for election purposes and with Attached details, whether the documents are complete or not, c0 whether the conditions prescribed by the prevailing federal law for party registration for election purposes have been met or not.
(2) If the Commission investigates according to sub-rule (1), if the details and documents attached to the application are not clear or if additional evidence is required on any matter, the relevant party will be given a maximum of seven days to submit their written statement along with additional details, documents or necessary evidence.
(3) Within the time given by the Commission according to sub-rule (2), the concerned party shall submit their statement in writing along with additional documents, details or evidence.
(4) When the Commission examines the petitions, documents, details and evidence submitted in accordance with this rule, if it finds it necessary to register a party for election purposes, it will register such a party and if it is not found suitable for registration, it will inform the relevant party.
